An adopted girl, Selma, is excluded from her circle of friends, when her sister Irma convinces the other girls to exclude her because she’s boring. Selma’s and Irma’s mother, Amparo, notices something strange in Selma, but Selma tells her that she is like that because she has a lot of school work. The girls younger brother eventually figures out what is really happening.
Mara and her friend write a creative story on their theater class’ script on psychological bullying. Their ideas suddenly start seeming as if this story were real. The central character of her story, Reina, blackmails Miguel, a classmate, asking for money every day in exchange for not accusing him of a crime that Reina invented.
Jeny takes revenge on Karla, who stole her boyfriend, and invents an Internet rumor:
“Katy had sex with a teacher”; using a picture where the teacher (Edwin Emil Moró) is seen taking Katy by the hand; when in reality she tripped and he helped her stand, when she went to consult him on his teacher’s professional hour. The rumor spreads This rumor spread like wildfire and the teacher is under investigation.

Using the slogan “Prevention is better than the cure”, our Prevention Series takes on different themes towards this end; themes such as: family issues management, prevention and consequences of different forms of bullying, peer pressure, addictions and the devastating consequences of drug abuse and distribution.

Eight shorts, four in English and four in Spanish give life to Project: VALUES. Through genders such as drama, comedy, tragedy and fantasy, characters live experiences that show the need of good moral values in our daily lives. Beyond the values, these shorts tackle subjects such as dengue prevention, stray bullets, social disobedience, disrespect to the elderly, psychological and physical bullying, the bad business of drug dealing and in-school terror.
Four childhood friends, Valerie, Justine, Nicole and Sasha, decide to buy together a pair of shoes for all of them to use. When Valerie falls ill, hospitalized with dengue, Justine, Nicole and Sasha decide to use only one shoe, exchanging it weekly in memory of their friend. Wanting to spread the conscience on dengue, they decide to clean Valerie’s house surroundings. In the meantime, Valerie fights between life and death, and her mother, Victoria (Jailene Cintrón), suffers with her sense of guilt.
Five friends cut class and go to a nearby forest to consume drugs. There they find a majestic tree where they fall asleep. They hallucinate that a humanoid serpent entraps them, accuses them of disobedient and, as punishment, she will eat them alive.
A group of students and their homeroom teacher, Mr. Pérez, plan a Christmas party at the teacher’s home. There will be a gift exchange in this party but one student, Pedro, doesn’t want to participate. Pedro insists he hates Christmas. Sr. Pérez (René Monclova) unexpectedly tells his students a personal story about his only daughter that’ll make his students reflect.
